Paris and District Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting

The Paris and District Chamber of Commerce held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Paris Grand Golf and Country Club.  Those on hand were treated to an informative evening of business, networking, door prizes and the celebration of another successful year for the Paris and District Chamber of Commerce!

Special guest speaker was Grant Bishop, Economist with the TD Bank Financial Group.  Grant provided those present with an interesting and informative analysis and forecast for the Canadian economy.

10 year awards were presented to Bell City Auto Centre, Best Western Brant Park Inn, Karl’s Woodworking and The St. George Company.  Thank you for your dedication to the Paris and District Chamber of Commerce!

The evening concluded with the presentation of the 2009/10 Annual Business Awards.  The Paris and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards are presented annually to companies/businesses/organizations.  These companies are nominated by the Chamber Executive as being recognized for demonstrating the Paris and District Chamber of Commerce mission of a “commitment to cooperation in commerce”.
